North West Hand Therapy Group

The North West Hand Therapy Group was established over 15 years ago. It serves a large area incorporating Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cheshire.

Meetings are held 3-4 times a year and are rotated around the region with different hospitals hosting the event. Meetings are always held in the evenings at 7pm and both BAHT and non-BAHT members are welcome to attend.

We always endeavour to have the meetings sponsored and on these occasions a free buffet is supplied so that therapists have the opportunity both to meet the company representatives and, most importantly to network and socialise with other regional hand therapists.

Meeting have included presentations from surgeons, therapists, nurses and psychologists on a variety of relevant topics. They are always well attended with an average of 50 delegates.
