THE HAND THERAPIST OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award recognises a substantial contribution that a BAHT member has made
in the field of hand therapy over the preceding 12 months.
This can be on a local, national or international level and may be related to a
specific project, service development or a number of small changes. We are
looking for someone who goes above and beyond to make a difference!
If you would like to nominate a BAHT member as ‘Hand Therapist of the Year’
then please complete the Form and a 500 word supporting statement and
return to:

The winner will be announced at BAHT Annual Conference!

ACCREDITED HAND THERAPIST (AHT) AWARD
These awards recognise that an individual therapist has achieved a standard of education within hand therapy. Therapists can gain points towards accreditation by attending BAHT courses and passing the course exams and coursework, by relevant evaluated prior learning or by completing Hand Therapy MSc modules. See the education section for further details on how to work towards accreditation.
BAHT is very proud of this award and has strived towards increased recognition of this award and over more recent years therapists from around the World have attended BAHT courses as their reputation has spread.

THE NATALIE BARR AWARD
The Natalie Barr Award is a long term achievement award to recognise a BAHT member who has made a substantial contribution to hand therapy. This award has only been given ten times in BAHT’s history which indicates the significance of the award and the high standard required to achieve this. Nominations can be made by any BAHT member with a proposer and seconder and confirmed by the Executive Committee.
