AN UPDATE:
HIHWU has now started the next phase of their work and is has two projects underway:
- To move on with the website by adding much more information on protocols, patient information sheets and key literature
- To provide one week training (hopefully face to face) in May. Nicola has been successful in getting a generous grant from the AHFT, USA for this
It is with the first task that they need your help as hand therapists!!
The protocols which have been received now need to be checked for up-to-date evidence base, spelling, grammar, etc.
There are about 30 topics and HIHWU would like to have a team of 10+ therapists to work through these so each only has to take 3 topics each. It is estimated that it will take around 3-5 hours per topic, so not a huge commitment!
